Master's level modules provided by the Institute's MSc in System Level Integration by distance learning may be taken on a standalone, continuing professional development basis by design engineers seeking to improve their skills and experience.
Working alongside Master's students, engineers work independently following course material provided via the internet allowing them to conveniently accommodate their skill-development needs around employment and personal commitments.
A certificate of attendance is provided at the end of each module for engineers studying on a CPD basis. It is not compulsory for CPD students to sit exams, however the Institute does advise students to complete the entire module, including all assignments and exams. Credits from the completion of the entire module may be awarded retrospectively should anyone studying on a CPD basis wish to matriculate and work towards an accredited qualification such as a postgraduate certificate, diploma or MSc.

Distance Learning section of the iSLI website provides full details of the programme including an overview, modules available, sample courses, entry requirements, enrolment dates and FAQs.
