Title: Techniques for ubiquitous reliable data storage

The project will focus on the application of techniques and technology to reliably and cost effectively secure and protect electronically stored information. Topics for research may include:

• Error correction
• Encryption
• Wireless, wired and optical data communications applied to transmission to and from data stores
• Redundant systems design for data storage, retrieval and transmission

The goal of the project will include the definition and design of systems and subsystems suitable for inclusion in SoC designs applied to reliable storage products.
