Title: Scalable reconfigurable computing systems

This project will look at the development of new architectures and design methods for constructing and analysing scalable reconfigurable computing systems. The use of FPGA technologies and their use within dynamically reconfigurable systems for real world applications will be investigated. In addition to dynamic reconfiguration of complete FPGAs, the project will also investigate the use of partial reconfiguration methods and tools for high performance systems.

The Research Engineer will be encouraged to use leading-edge combined algorithm and hardware design tools as the research platform, and will base his research work on the advanced DIME technology.
